The Adams family moved to Curtisville in 1924.
Seth Hixon Adams and his wife Mary Judith Main moved to Curtisville from Owosso, Michigan with their 9 children and had an additional child born in Curtisville in 1927.
Seth moved there to work construction on the dams being built on the AuSable River for electrical power.
Seth Hixon Adams was born in Dunsbury, MI on May 30, 1888.
Mary Judith Main was born in Ontario, Canada on July 20, 1893. Mary died of complications following goiter surgery on April 21, 1930. She is buried in Curtisville Cemetery.
Seth died in Lupton, MI on December 13, 1968 and is also buried in Curtisville Cemetery.
